Scott Wayne White

Mr. Scott Wayne White, age 52 of Sylacauga, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his residence. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 23 at 1:00 PM at Estelle Community Church with Pastor Mark Deason officiating. Burial will follow in Estelle Community Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 22 at the church from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Crocket and Edna White and his son, Armand Thompson.

He is survived by his wife Celia Faye White of Sylacauga; daughters, Teresa Lee Smith of Sylacauga and Patricia Yvone Weldon of Ariton; brothers, William Lynn White of Monroe, LA and Philip DeWayne White of Wisconsin; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be William Lynn White, Brad Lowrey, Hosea Thompson, Philip DeWayne White, Christopher White, Shane White, Channon White, and Shane Whitlow.

He was a hard-working man, loving husband, a firm but loving father and grandfather to all his kids, the best big brother, a lover of Christ, a faithful believer and the strongest man his family has ever known.
