Funeral service for Vera Louise Isabell Simmons, age 87, of Sylacauga will be Saturday at 12 noon at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Simmons passed away on July 26, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband: Horace H. Simmons, parents: A.R. and Leera Isabell, son: Barry Alan Simmons, grandchild: Kimberly Brooke Simmons and brother: Robert Buddy Isabell. She is survived by her daughter: Ginger Diane Simmons White (Tony), son: Glenn Michael Simmons (Janice), Brother: Armond O.L. Isabell, grandchildren: Danny Bassett (Staci), Adam Bassett (Nancy), Brandon Simmons (Jennifer), Ashley Simmons Patterson (Zane), Jennifer Simmons Goins (Daniel), Misty Simmons Vick (Dione), Cody Simmons (Brittney) and 13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Danny Bassett, Adam Bassett, Brandon Simmons, Tony White, Zane Patterson and Ricky Deason. Honorary pallbearers are Dione Vick, Daniel Goins and Cody Simmons.. Visitation will be from 11-12 at the funeral home.
