So sorry I wasn't here for the funeral.  I always loved your daddy, and your mother so much.  He will be missed by so many people. Love to you all.

Amy,Scott and families, so sorry to hear of you your dads passing. He was one of the gang. Ted Norman, Kirmit and Ken Grissom, Jack Burks, Jiggs, my brother Donald and I (I was the tag along to all of them.) We built towers in a lot by your dads house. The big tree had boards across the limbs that they would climb. I was afraid to climb. Donald, Jiggs, Ted and your dad have climbed that tower. Got to be a big tree up there for them to gather around. You and your

I have lost a great friend but, I know where to find him. Woody had an undying love for his entire family. This was lived out in his care for Margaret, picking up grandchildren every Tuesday, donations to community, service in his church and the list goes on. Love the pictures!!! He will live in all our hearts forever......May his family be strengthened in living out the amazing heritage he left behind.

Dear my and Scott and the Entire Family,
You have my deepest sympathy at the loss of such a wonderful and loving Father and friend to so many in the Sylacauga area.  He and Margaret are now happily together.  Woodie will be missed for is love and care of not only his family but of his many friends.  Woodie and I grew up together and we shared many lifelong memories of playing together and dating with our girlfriends together.  I was one of the ones to get Woodie and Margret together and to see them fall in love for a lifetime.  Their wedding was memorable for myself Robert Parett, Leman (Jiggs) Heflin, and Donald House all who were a part of their wedding.  We also played a part in disrupting their wedding night for a while.  There are many memories I will always cherish of our life together.  I spoke to Woodie while he was in the hospital at one time and only wish I could have seen him. My Brother Kermit and Sister Jackie also send their best wishes to all. Love to all of you and when next I am in Sylacauga I hope to convey my sympathy in person.
