Billie Jeanette Thigpen Jenkins

Sylvania- Billie Jeanette Eastmead Thigpen Jenkins, age 78, passed away on March 2, 2012, at Syl-View Health Care Center in Sylvania. She was born in Screven County, was retired from White Stag Mfg. Co. where she was an outlet store operator and was a member of Little Horse Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Edward, Sr. & Stella Sasser Eastmead.

Survivors: Husband: Herman Talmadge “Buck” Jenkins of Sylvania; Daughters and Son-In-Law: Jennifer T. LaBrecque of Marietta, GA and Janet T. & Dale Comstock of Orlando, FL; Sons and Daughter-In-Law: Dennis & Sandy Thigpen of Walkersville, MD and Michael Thigpen of MN; Step-Daughter: June J. McBride of Girard, GA; Step-Son and Daughter-In-Law: Mike & Ann Jenkins of Sylvania; Sister and Brother-In-Law: Camille E. & Josh Lanier of Sylvania; 5 Grandchildren: Hannah E. LaBrecque of Dallas, GA, Megan Comstock of Orlando, FL, Eric Thigpen of MN, Matt McBride of Girard, GA and Eric Beck of KY; 1 Great-Grandchild; Several Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation: Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral services: Monday, March 5, 2012, at 11:00 am at Little Horse Creek Baptist Church with Rev. David Buie officiating. Burial at Little Horse Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
