Sylvania – Constance Arlene “Connie” Boyd, age 49, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at a residence in Girard, GA. She was born in Jenkins County, GA, was employed with Longs Logging and was a member of Ellis Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her Father: Claudy Andrew Boyd.

Survivors: Daughter and Son-In-Law: Charlene G. & Josh Revels of Tifton, GA; Mother: Barbara Godbee Boyd of Sylvania; Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Claudette Boyd & Joe Sasser of Millen, GA and Deborah Boyd & Michael Hagan of Sylvania; Brother: Michael Andrew Boyd of Sylvania; Special Friend: Daryl Long of Girard, GA; Nephews: Jake Sasser and Boyd Sasser.

Visitation: Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Sirmons and Rev. Dr. Karen Zeigler officiating. Burial following at Ellis Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
