Ila Holton

Lyons (formerly of Sylvania)- Ila Holton, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Bethany Home in Vidalia, GA. She was born in Emanuel County, was a retired corrections officer for the State of Georgia and was a member of Bay Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Alvin, Sr. & Mary Phillips Holton; Mother: Cassie Holton; Brother: Orland Holton.

Survivors: Daughter and Son-in-Law: Jean T. & Guy Bullock of Sylvania; Twin-Sister: Mila H. Waters of Mableton, GA; Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Hilton M. & Teresa Holton of Wrightsville, GA and Alvin, Jr. & Margaret Holton of Lyons, GA; Special Grandson: Steven & Megan Bullock of Sylvania; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Erwin Murphy officiating. Burial at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Joe Sasser, Johnny Dunn, Mark Finley, Terry Finley, Mark Bazemore and Chip Bazemore.
