Ira Louis Perryman, 98, of Millen, died Monday, August 22, 2011, at Bethany Home Nursing Center in Millen.

The Jenkins County native was a retired farmer and a member of the Big Horse Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Molly Bragg Perryman, his parents, Major and Susie Rabitsch Perryman, his brother, Clyde Perryman and his sister, Lula Mae P. Parker.

Survivors include, A daughter, Irene P. Dickey, Millen, a son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Debra Perryman, Millen, 2 Grandsons, Craig Perryman of North Augusta, SC and Marty (Kellie) Perryman of Millen, 4 Great-Grandchildren, Levi Perryman, Paige Perryman, Matt Thompson and Kent Thompson, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, Jesse Hendley, III, and several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside services for Mr. Perryman were held Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at the Big Horse Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wendell Madray and Rev. Bert Hickman officiating.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
