

SYLVANIA – Jim Moore Kelly, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Sacred Journey Hospice Inpatient Facility in McDonough, GA. He was born in Wadley, GA, was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked for 30 years in the Sylvania Post Office and was a member of Sylvania First United Methodist Church. He was also a Mason with Sylvania Lodge #301 and a U.S. Army Reserves Veteran of WWII & Korean War. He was preceded in death by His Parents: Charlton & Ruth Moore Kelly; Brother: Major Charles Kelley.
Survivors: Wife of 71 years: Dorothy Davis Kelly of Stockbridge, GA; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Patricia K. & Bruce Miller of Stockbridge, GA; Grandchildren: Laura & Kent Howell of Lawrenceville, GA and Jeff & Tina Miller of Nashville, TN; Great-Grandchildren: Jim Miller and Max Miller, both of Nashville, TN; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside Services: Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Screven County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Mike Benson and Jeff Miller officiating. Burial following at the cemetery, visitation will also follow the service.
