

Sylvania – Lovell Estel (L.E.) “Red” Nunnally, Jr., age 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Georgia Regents University Hospital in Augusta, GA. He was born in Screven County, GA, was retired from B.A.S.F. where he worked as an electronics technician and was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army having fought in WWII. He was preceded in death by His Parents: Lovell Estel, Sr. & Dora Kirby Phillips Nunnally; Half-Brothers: Jessie Phillips and Carlie Phillips.
Survivors: Wife: Mary Carolyn Odom Nunnally; Step-Sons and Daughters-In-Law: James Addison & Ann Waters of Newnan, GA, Carol B. & Mary Waters of Alexander, GA, Don H. & Ellen Waters of Sylvania, W. Ray & Jeannie Waters of Macon, GA and Franklin L. Waters of Sylvania; Grandchildren: Ken & Sadie Waters of Waynesboro, GA, Marie & Kenny Oliver of Jacksonville, FL, James A. Waters of Atlanta, GA, Kara & Daniel Gelderman of Rincon, GA, Matthew & Gina Waters of Macon, GA, D.J. & Fernie Waters of Sylvania, Franklin & Amanda Waters of Sylvania and Tyler Marie & Brad LuQuire of Athens, GA; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services: Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Patricia McDonald officiating. Burial following in the Lewis Family Cemetery, 2200 Bascom Road, Sylvania, GA 30467.
