Sylvania –Martha Lavon Davis Beasley, age 65, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, GA. She was born in Columbia City, IN to the late Rev. Charles & Beverly Lowe Davis and worked at Clariant Corp as a Purchaser. She was also a member of Hiltonia Christian Church, was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors: Husband: James E. “Jim” Beasley of Sylvania; Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Charles David & Beth Beasley of La Plata, MD, James Adam & April Beasley of Marion, AR and Marshall & Kristen Beasley of Sylvania; Grandchildren: Marshall Wyatt Beasley, Madyson Beasley, Jamee Garner, Meaghan Beasley, Sarah Beasley, James Eli Beasley, Colt Beasley, Lara Beasley, Rayce Beasley, Ava Beasley, Jackson Beasley, James Addison Beasley, Dakota Beasley and Dayna Beasley; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Jacob Garner and Emily Garner; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dauss, Ron Hutchings and Rev. Kitty Newton officiating. Burial following at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Marshall Wyatt Beasley, Madyson Beasley, Jamee Garner, Matt Garner, Meaghan Beasley and Sarah Beasley. Honorary Pallbearers: Rest of Grandchildren.
