

She was born in Screven County, Georgia, was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, and was retired from the Quality Control Department at King Finishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Maude Cohen Edenfield, her husband, Rupert Edward (Red) Freeman, a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie F. and Franklin Lewis.
Survivors include, Grandchildren, Stephen Lewis and fiance, Lacey Lanier, Statesboro, and Casey L. and Trey Steel, Austin, Texas, Great-Grandchildren, Quade Steele, Jack Steele, and Allison Steele, Austin, Texas, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Freeman will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel, Sylvania, with the Rev. Hubert Reeves and the Rev. Tim Minchey officiating. Burial will be in the Double Heads Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Gary Edenfield, Jim Edenfield, Wendell Edenfield, Bobby Alexander, Danny Anderson, and J. B. Johnson.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
