

Millen –William Howard “Bill” Hooks, age 74, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at his residence in Millen. He was born in Treutlen County, GA to the late Howard Hooks and Minnie Willis Hooks Pettigrew and was of Baptist faith. He was retired from Plant Vogtle with Georgia Power and was a member of the NRA and the International Brotherhood of Electricial Workers. He is preceded in death by his Parents; Wife: Frances Annette Faircloth Hooks; Brothers: Tony Hooks and Greg Hooks.
Survivors: Daughter and Son-In-Law: Debra H. & Dwayne Deal of Springfield, GA; Sons and Daughters-In-Law: James & Janet Hooks of Keystone Heights, FL, Jeff & Kristie Hooks of Brooklet, GA and Timothy & Jennifer Hooks of Irmo, SC; Sister: LaGail Hooks of Metter, GA; Brother and Sister-In-Law: Ronnie & Margaret Hooks of Bartow, FL; Half-Sister: Casey Hooks; 10 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Visitation: Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Stacey Hooks officiating. Burial following at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers: James Hooks, Jeff Hooks, Timothy Hooks, Dwayne Deal, Dillan Hooks and Tracy Childers.
