Mary Agnes Adams

Mary Adams entered into eternal rest on February 6, 2024. She was the cherished matriarch of her family and the loving wife of the late John Adams. A dear sister to Thomas (Marie). Mary was a dedicated mother to Agnes, Kathleen, the late Mary-Alice, Sean (Marina), and Eileen (Ryan). Her role as a mother extended beyond her immediate family, as she was a source of comfort and guidance to all who knew her.

Mary took immense joy in her role as a grandmother, and her love knew no bounds. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and love in the hearts of her grandchildren, Samantha, Timothy, Rose, and Richard.

A true friend to many, Mary's kindness touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Her generosity and compassion made everyone feel welcomed.

Mary was a lifetime member of the Syosset Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary, where her dedication and service made a lasting impact.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition in memory of her daughter, Mary-Alice.

Mary Adams will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love she so freely gave throughout her life.

A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Friday February 9th from 2pm - 4pm and 7 - 9pm. A mass will be held at St. Edwards the Confessor in Syosset on Saturday February 10th at 9:45 am. An interment will occur Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Saint Charles Resurrection Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York 11735.
