I'm a proud nephew of uncle Rich, he and my dad were more than brother in laws, they were friends.
My children have grown up knowing only the "A" students get to drink the green bottle beer (Heineken) and being polish is the best attribute you can possibly have.
My deepest condolences to my aunt Agnes and Mary, Rich, Doug and Gwen and their families.
It seems like just yesterday that we were playing wiffle ball and uncle Rich was yelling "Doug.......Dog" hot dog for Doug.

Captain Ward will always be remembered as a true family man. Always having a strong  presence in Gwen’s life.  Witty, engaging  and interested in Gwen’s close friends . Gwen mentioned to me a  very long time ago that the song “Brandy” was one of her dad’s favorite songs. Since that day whenever I hear that song I think of Gwen and her dad and remember all  of the  good times  and laughter .
