McDonnell, William J. “Bill”, 66, of Woodbury, NY, passed away on December 12, 2020. William was born on April 1st, 1954 in New York, NY, and was a graduate of Xavier High School and Fordham University, both in New York, NY. Preceded in death by parents William and Katherine McDonnell, and brother John. Survived by his wife Amelia McDonnell (née Ciambra); sons Kyle and Devin McDonnell; daughter-in-law Rosemary McDonnell (née Hartofilis); his brother James, and his cat, Lippy. Funeral Mass will be held on December 16, 2020 at 9:45 am at St. Edward Confessor RC Church, 205 Jackson Ave, Syosset, NY. Interment will be held on December 16, 2020 at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in William’s honor to the Xavier High School Annual Fund.
