Gene - My sincerest thoughts at your Dad's passing. I'll always remember him rambling down Coventry Rd. in his pick up, then slowing down by our house to toot the horn and waive.

Dear Aunt Rosalie, John, Gene and Kathleen, Some years ago my Dad and I were looking through old photographs of the Ash Street Timpano Clan.  The photos were champagne colored, fragile and slightly curled at the edges, but the faces were bright and smiling and joyful.  My Father said to me, "That's when the world was young." He looked into the middle distance and sixty-five (65) years back when his generation held all the hope, promise and Time that they would ever need to build a life. 

Sometimes we can ignore the tyranny of Time, but that never lasts.  We are too often reminded that Time is the cruelest of task masters because it is finite, uncertain and whether spent wisely or squandered it is completely spent every second, none of it conserved. 

It is like holding on to a handful of water; blink and your hands are empty.  I know the solace that comes with distance from this day of losing Your Dad, our Uncle Jigsy is stale and hollow because the world that once was young is forever gone.  I cannnot say a word of comfort, except I know how you are feeling right now, Love Lucia.

I am so sorry to read of your loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time!

I'm sorry to read about your father's death.  My dad died Saturday evening also.  It's a weird feeling, isn't it?  Like the end of an era.  Looking at the pictures, it appears he had a full and happy life.  Good for him.  Take care.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Mr. Timpano. I worked at the VA eye clinic and even when he was very sick he still managed to get a smile out. Mrs. Timpano you took very good care of him. My prayers are with you in this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear that you lost your dad, Gene. I went through it myself just a few months ago and I know how difficult it is. He must have been a wonderful man because you certainly turned out great! Hugs to you and your family.

Deapest condolences on the passing of your beloved "Jigs". What amazing memories I have of my mid-teen years spent with your wonderful family. Every child should be so blessed to be raised in such a loving home. Jigs was the foundation of it all and I will never forget all the laughter and kindness that he brought to my life.
