Frank Donald Wodarczyk

Frank Donald Wodarczyk, 53, of Bridgeport, New York went to be with our Lord on Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by his family. He graduated from Cicero High School in 1976, State University of New York at Oswego in 1980 and later received his teaching master’s degree from Syracuse University. He resided in Bridgeport all his life. A passionate teacher in the Syracuse City School District and at Living Word Academy for many years, Frank loved his students and took great pride in his work. Throughout his life, he built a close relationship with God and projected encouragement and positivity to those around him through his faith. He was a wonderful son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He loved his niece and nephew very much. He is predeceased by his mother, Rosemary Wodarczyk.

Frank is survived by his father, Donald Wodarczyk of Bridgeport, his brother and sister-in-law David and Nadine Wodarczyk, of East Syracuse, and his niece and nephew Haley and Justin Wodarczyk of East Syracuse.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday 11 A.M. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 12 P.M. noon at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Bridgeport, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
