John Milo Sanford, 62, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday at University Hospital. Born to Milo Sanford and Eula Card Sanford on the November 23, 1950, at John Andrew Hospital in Tuskegee, AL. He graduated J.F. Drake High School in Auburn, AL and Stillman University in Tuscaloosa, AL. He served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Wilson and two brothers, Willie Card and David Card.
John leaves to mourn, a daughter, Tasha Neal of Syracuse, NY; two sisters, Clara Card of Auburn, AL and, Eula Flowers of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Ronnie Carl Sanford (Lou Eva) Columbus, OH; two grandchildren, Sidney Alexander and Samuel Adams; the mother of his daughter, Linda Neal; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday 1 p.m. in the Faith by Love Church.
Burial will be in the West View Cemetery in Auburn, Alabama.
Calling hours will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 523 W. Onondaga St., Syracuse, NY.
