Joseph Catalano

Joseph Catalano, 89, of Fountain Street, Syracuse, passed away Monday. A life resident of Syracuse, he retired from GE. A veteran of the United States Army, Joseph served his country during WWII. Mr. Catalano was a member of the American Legion Post 41, where he was past president and Chef De Gare. He was also an Officer of the 40/8. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Dominic, Frank, and George; and sisters, Esther Catalano and Antoinette Klimeck.

Joseph is survived by his sister, Grace (Santo) Napoli of Syracuse; many beloved nieces and nephews, including Mary Ann, Valerie, and Helen. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday 1 P.M. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. An hour of visitation will be held prior to the funeral services from 12-1 P.M. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
