

Lester Terry, Jr., 54, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at the Francis House with his family and friends by his side. Born in Varnville, SC, he has been a resident of Syracuse since he was 10. Mr. Terry served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a former employee of New Process Gear for 25 years. He was an entrepreneur and he loved music.
Lester is survived by his wife, Francina Terry; parents, Lester, Sr. and Evelena Terry; two daughters, Jessica Lynn Terry and Eshella Haygood; son, Lester Haygood; sister, Lisateen McClain; four brothers, Lendae, Glen, Sr., Norman and Ronnie Terry, Sr.; special nephews, Chadwick Stewart and Ronnie Terry, Jr.; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted, Monday, 11 a.m. at New Jerusalem Missionary Bptist Church, 1034 Montgomery St., Syracuse. Burial to follow in Valley Cemetery.
Friends may call, Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at FARONE & SON FUNEAL HOME, 1500 Park Street.
