

Martin F. Killory, Sr., 92, passed away Monday at Loretto. Born in Whitman, MA he resided in Syracuse most of his life. He retired as a school teacher after 26 years from North and Henninger High Schools. Martin served his country proudly during WWII in the US Navy and also the Korean War in the US US Air force before retiring after 20 years. Mr. Killory was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church where he was a Lector. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen M. Barry Killory in 2009 and his son, John T. Killory in 2011.
Martin is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Michael) Sullivan of Cincinnati, OH, Eileen Killory of San Francisco, CA, Helen Qammar of Akron, OH, Grace (Fred) Leff of Syracuse and Marie Killory of Atlanta, GA; sons, Martin F. Killory, Jr. of Colorado, James Killory of New Jersey and William (Patricia) Killory of Syracuse; 19 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, 8:15 a.m. from FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 9 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
Burial will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
