Pauline (Grasso) Polverenti, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011. She was born in Canastota, New York, daughter of Antonio and Maria (Stagnetti) Grasso. In her early years, she worked at Daw’s Drug Store in Rome, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick Polverenti, parents, Antonio and Maria (Stagnitti) Grasso, sisters, America Cavallaro, Virginia Paone and Antonina Coniglio.
Pauline is survived by her one sister, Nathaline (Albert) Ferlo of Rome, NY; two brothers, Vincent A. (Dorothy) Grasso and Peppino Grasso, both of Rome, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday 10:30 a.m. at PIRRO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Park Street.
Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dewitt.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rome Hospital, Bartlett Wing.
