

Pietro A. Pallotta of Syracuse passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Guardiareggia, Italy, he was a Syracuse resident since 1954. In 2000, Pietro retired from Allied Chemical after 34 years of service. A communicant of St. Daniel’s Church, he was also a member of the St. Peter’s Golden Ages. Predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Mariantonia Pallotta.
Pietro is survived by his wife of 49 years, Guiseppina (Rotundo) Pallotta; one daughter, Antoinetta (Mark) Ferranti of Camillus; three sons, Joe (Kim) Pallotta of Ohio, Mario (Janie) Pallotta and Nicola (Denise) Pallotta, both of Syracuse; sisters, Carmella (Vincent) Conte of Jamesville and Filomena (Bill) Hickin of North Syracuse; brothers, Frank (Annette) Pallotta of Syracuse and Nicola Pallotta of Italy; seven grandchildren, Mary, Matthew, and Sarah Ferranti, Gabrielle and Julia Pallotta, and Antonio and Patrick Pallotta; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday 11:30 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 12:10 p.m. at St. Daniel’s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street.
