Ruby M. Stanford

Ruby M. Hill Stanford, 79, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday at Upstate Medical Center. Born in Crawfordville, Georgia, she moved to Syracuse in 1956. Ruby retired from R.E. Dietz Company and also worked part-time after her retirement at Syracuse Janitorial Service. She was predeceased by her husband, Crawford Stanford; father, Hertha Weaver, Sr.; brother, Hertha Weaver, Jr.; sister, Katie Fleming; and step mother, Marie Callier.

Survivors: Her children, Clinton (Sarah) Hill of Syracuse, Delbra Hill (Jonathan Savage) of Colorado Springs, CO, Wilbur E. Hill (Joanne Kemp) of Syracuse, Rev. Anthony (LaTasha) Hill of Denver, CO, Sharon Y. Hill (Harvey Powell), and Patricia (John) Perry, of Syracuse; brother, Rev Willie Weaver, Sr.; 38 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild; special friends, Angela Hill and Isaac Clark, Jr.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Calling hour: Friday 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 12 noon at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
