Dear Sierra's Family,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Sierra.  Sadder that I did not hear the news until the afternoon of the memorial services.  I wish I could have been there.
I cared for Sierra the evening she was diagnosed and for most of her surgeries.  She was a special young girl who touched my heart with her strength and courageous soul.  She will always be in my heart.
May you all hold her close to your heart and soul.  I am praying for all of you.

My condolences to Sierra's family.  Sierra is at peace and no more pain.  She was a beautiful little girl and my grandson, Skylar, had the chance to be in her class.  He has been touched by her presence.  He has a few pictures of her on a field trip last year.  Those pictures are now in his keep sake box.  Katrina hold strong as you have been all these years.  You are a beautiful person that was gifted with a lot of love for your daughter and children. Sierra rest in peace.

I know you can hear me. I can just see your face brighten up now! You thought I would forget you....NEVER!!! I just wanted to wait so I could see your face light up just as it did everytime we would see each other after it's been a long time.  I want you to know I cannot say I know what pain you endured..But I do know that GOD would not put more on you than you can handle, and you handled alot as a child so I know had this went another way...You would have been a strong WOMEN!!..We cannot question GOD..HE has a plan for you!! Just wait and see..I am sure you will show me a sign...One thing I have to say to you, you have taught me a good lesson...Anytime I feel I just want to give up and let go of whatever is bothering me I think of YOU!!..If Sierra handled THAT I can handle THIS!..I can still hear your voice when you use to call me and ask me do I have to work and if I say I do you would say to me the next time you are off can I come get you so you can spend time with me" Moments like that I cannot erase from my mind..I will cherish always..No matter what!! I just want you to know that I LOVE YOU WILL ALL OF MY HEART...DONT FORGET ME BECAUSE I SURELY WONT FORGET YOU!!!

Katrina and Sierra's loving family...
Sierra has  left such a a rich legacy for others to grow/learn from. Her gentle ways, wisdom, and the faith she lived by continue to teach others.  As it says in Scripture, "You have fought the fight, run the race, kept the faith, and now is waiting for you a crown of righteousness...."    I'm sure the "crown" will be diva-like especially for Sierra.

Katrina and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Sierra was a wonderful, kind and brave little girl who was obviously loved so much by and family and many others.
I was blessed to have been able to help in such a small way, to be able to bring a little bit of happiness into her life.
I hope your memories will bring a smile to your faces for a long time to come. My prayers are with you at this time.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Sierra, but I do have the pleasure of knowing her older sister Jasmine, and from that I can tell Sierra was a happy little girl, and a little girl who never gave up, and had lots of friends of all ages.

To the Taylor family,
I did not have the pleasure of meeting Ms. Sierra, but I have the pleasure of knowing her older sister Jasmine, and from what I can tell is that Sierra was and is a special little girl, who was here for a short time, and upon her time here, she made a lot of friends, made a lot people laugh. Just keeping during what you doing, remember Sierra when she was happy but also remember she never gave up.  Just keep trusting in the Lord and keep the Faith.

Sierra,
Knowing you has been a true blessing.  As one of your teachers it was supposed to be my job to teach you!  You were the one doing the teaching!  You taught so many about life, courage, strength and humor.  We will miss you very much!  Rest in peace little one.

Your quote at such a young age, "God will not give me anything I cannot handle," showed the True Strength you had within yourself to overcome the pain and suffering you had been stricken with over the past four years.
Through the years you have remained in thought and prayer.  I had so many times prayed that a Miracle would be bestowed upon you.  In God's own way, He has answered My Prayer.  The miracle was to many.... to have had You as a special part of their lives if only for a few days, months, or years.
