Therese Jones-Howard

Therese TJ Jones-Howard, 48, departed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2013. A resident of Syracuse, NY, Therese was adored by the community. She lived a hard life, but she managed to stay confident. Therese loved going out with her friends, playing bingo and just hanging out with someone to talk to. She loved to have fun; cooking and conversing came natural to Therese. Lighting up people’s faces with just her presence was enough to accumulate the love. Welcoming her into Heaven is her mother, Laura Darrow and brother, Frank Jones.

She arises leaving behind her husband; three daughters, Ashley Jones, Larray White-Howard and Candonce Hughes; son, Devon Jones and two sisters, Laura Clark and Marybeth Jones. She embraced her loving siblings who she loved dearly and will be missed dearly. Her daughter, Ashley Jones was a jewel in her crown and for her niece Lonya Moore, she meant the same. She had a special affection for those who had the potential to be great, but even greater than she was. She appreciated being in a position to show love and be family to everyone including her nieces and nephews who she loved unconditionally. Therese stays with us and will never be forgotten.

Calling hours: Monday 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with services at 12:30 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. Burial in Loomis Hill Cemetery.
