Armandina G. Garcia Guerrero

Armandina Garcia Guerrero 'Cha Cha', age 63, a resident of Taft, Texas, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on December 16, 1946, in Taft to Amador Garcia and Pilar Saldana Garcia.

She is survived by one daughter, Vanessa (Richard) Avila of Portland, Texas; two grandchildren, R.D. and Ryan Avila of Portland; two brothers, Amador (Elia) Garcia Jr. and Alfredo (Mary Lou) Garcia Sr.; and four sisters: Olga (Omar) Garza, Angelita (late Ernesto) Cortez, Sr., Adela (Martin) Garcia and Adelina (Guadalupe) Ochoa; and honorary Sister: Angelica Cuellar.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Taft. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1008 Austin St., Portland, Texas. Burial will follow at The Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Portland.
