I met Anna in 2001, September 8 to be clear. Not in person because I live in the Netherlands.
We had a lot of e-mail- and telephone-contact and the result was a wonderful friendship!
In 2007 she crossed the ocean and came to Europe, the Netherlands. She stayed in my house for 16 days, we made a lot of trips in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg! It was a great time, we enjoyed it very much!!
This meeting made our friendship even stronger. Bless the modern techniques (Anna was good with this), e-mails, a lot of pictures, telephone.....very often and a lot, oh how wonderful!

A few days before she passed away we had our last telephone call.... oh my fantastic- and strong friend Anna, so clear in what she wanted....
And now it's quiet and silent, I've lost a very very close friend, my dear Anna....
I'm so grateful for the 19 year we were in touch, we've learned so much from each other.
We ended our telephone calls always with "Love You!" and that's what I want to say here too:

"LOVE you my dearest Anna",

I met Anna at a church social when I was doing travel nursing in Palm Springs.  She was such a wonderful person and I will cherish the memories of her.  I will miss her and and her uplifting messages.  My prayers and sympathy to the family.  

I met Anna when I was 16 years old.  That was almost 40 years ago.
Anna was who my Mom considered a best friend.  When my mom passed Anna became like a mother to me.  I enjoyed many pleasant text chats with her and I cherished shared memories and our relationship.  Much love and prayers to family and friends.  I pray for comfort as you mourn her loss.
