Arthur A. Lubeck was born on February 13, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Michael and Betty Lubeck. He attended school in New York and eventually enlisted in the US Army and served honorably from Jan 1955-Jan 1957. During his civilian life he was the jack of many trades to include Furniture refinishing with his father, construction of many types, restaurant business, and finally retiring after a stent in property management. On January 28, 1983, he married his love, best friend and companion, Johnann Catcher in Reno, Nevada. He instantly inherited two more daughters, LaHoma Savala and Michelle Toth in addition to his children, Barbara Borges, Roger Lubeck, Jodi Munoz and Michael Lubeck. Art was a grandfather, great grand father and even a great-great grandfather to 19 youngins. They all had specials names for him, Grandpa, Gramps, Poppy, and Super Grandpa to name a few.
Art was Jewish by birth but with the constant coaching of his daughter accepted Christ as his personal Savior in his last days. What a glorious day!
Art was preceded in death by his sister, Francis Cohen, who passed away August 23, 2020.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Johnann Lubeck, his children and grandchildren, his sister, Arlene Cohen and a host of friends and loved ones.
