

with Brother Johnny Faught officiating, interment will follow at Park Hill Cemetery. Visitation for Cameron will be Wednesday June 6, 2012 from noon until 8:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Cameron Charlene Gregory was born on September 23, 1935 the daughter of Larnce and Pearl (Garlick) Denney. A Baptist by faith Cameron grew up around the Blackwell area until moving to Tahlequah in 1963. Cameron was a licensed Nurse and worked for many years at Tahlequah City Hospital as well as several of the local nursing homes. She would eventually leave nursing to work for the Talking Leaf Job Corp until she retired in 1992. Cameron was an avid bowler and she loved football especially the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners. Cameron also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and it was known that you would never go hungry around Grandmothers house. Cameron was also a gifted flower arranger and spent countless hours preparing flower arrangements. She also had a love for the old country swing music from such greats as Bob Wills and Hank Williams. On June 2, 2012 Cameron went to be with her lord, she was 76 years old. Cameron will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Cameron is preceded in death by her Mother and Father.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Denita Shamel and her husband Gary of Salina, OK one sister, Tommie Rath and her husband Johnny of Covington, OK, one brother Ronald Nimmo and his wife Pat of Duncan, OK her grand daughters Mindy Iness and her partner Sally Collins of Tulsa, and Regina Roach and her husband Jackie of Locust Grove, OK and three Great Grandchildren Tashawn Shamel, J. Shamel, and Dale Roach, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and loved ones.
