Christopher Lee Jones, or “Kaloquegidi” to his family and friends, was born on August 29, 1983 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Jerry and Wynona Sue (Ross-Hayes)-Jones. He grew up with two brothers and three sisters, Meredith Towie, Amanda Jones, Laura Jones, Jonathan Jones and Austin Jones. He attended school in Tahlequah and then began his working career at Greenleaf Nursery. He was always happy and always had a smile on his face. He was the proud father of three sons, Dakota, Hunter and Zavyn. He loved time spent with his boys and his family. He enjoyed a day at the river swimming and hanging out with his friends. He passed from this life all too soon on December 11, 2020 in a tragic accident. He will be fondly remembered.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother, Wynona Sue Ross-Hayes, and great nephew, Easton Striker Peace.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Dakota Lee Jones, Hunter Koal Jones and Zavyn Noah Jones all of Tahlequah. He leaves his father, Jerry Jones and Veronica Millsap of the home and his brothers and sisters, Meredith Towie and husband Lee of Tahlequah, Amanda Jones of Glenpool, and Laura Jones of Miami, OK, he leaves two brothers, Jonathan Jones and Austin Jones both of Tahlequah, OK. His nieces and nephews include, Dillion Towie and wife Jordan, Kristin Towie and companion Rusty Peace, Megan Towie, Maekla Towie, Kianna Littlebear, Kensley Littlebear, Summer Jones, Alden Jones, Raelynn Martin, Rosslyn Martin, Dean Jones, and Jack Jones. His great nieces and nephews include Jensyn Towie, Kaveri Peace, and Ezekiel Avan Jones, as well as many cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
Funeral Services for Christopher Lee Jones will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Reed Culver Chapel with Leader Leslie Dallis officiating. He will be laid to rest with his family at Greenleaf Cemetery. Pallbearers for Christopher will be Dillion Towie, Charlie Jones, Matt Dew, Jon Testerman, Justin Smith, Guadalupe Garcia, and Austin Jones.
