

Cindy Louise (Woody) Rahmer was born on New Years Eve, December 31st, 1956, in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of Charles and Florence (Land) Woody. She grew up with five sisters and graduated from Tumwater High School in Washington. Cindy worked for many years as a flight agent for Alaska Airlines. Always lending a helping hand, she would become a great asset as a volunteer for Green Gables Elementary School as well as Cherokee Nation. She was very involved with her Church AWANAs Program, teaching children and teens. Cindy was a hard worker and truly had a heart for others. It was that same compassion and dedication that made her such a wonderful mother to her two children, Travis and Alysha. Together they traveled many places, her favorite destination being Disney Land. Though Cindy always kept herself busy, she took time to enjoy her family and the nature around her. She liked to walk the countryside and be out amount the horses or set down to make various crafts or scrapbook. Her three grand babies were her pride and joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Her memory lives on through her two children, Travis Rahmer and wife Amy of Hope Mills, NC and Alysha Rahmer of Federal Way, WA, and three cherished grandchildren, Austyn, Scarlett and Raegan. She is survived by five sisters, Barbara Robertson and husband Virdie of Kennewick, WA, Sherry Neher and husband Phil of West Richland, WA, Karen Woody of Tahlequah, OK, Charlie Wagner and husband Jerry of SeaTac, WA, and Julie Hoskinson and husband Greg of Kirkland, WA along with many nieces, nephews and numerous friends and loved ones.
Memorial services for Cindy will be held at a later date by her family.
