

BUNCH, OK – Funeral services for Eli James Fields will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Reed Culver Funeral Home with Pastor Gill Hooper officiating. Interment will follow at Long Prairie Cemetery in Kansas, OK. A wake service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 at his residence in Bunch, OK from 6:00 pm until 10:00 am the following morning. Eli James Fields, or “Canoon” to his friends, was born on August 31st, 1973 in Stilwell, OK, the son of Dianna Josie Marie Fields. He was a caring, loving man who was blessed to have lived a wonderful life. He loved time spent with his family and his four grandchildren swimming in the river, dancing and teaching them something new. They brought love, laughter and great happiness to his life. He married his best friend and the love of his life, Esther (Mouse) Fields on May 1, 2013. They enjoyed six wonderful years together. During Eli’s free time, he enjoyed many small hobbies such as collecting knick knacks, catching the local garage sales or an afternoon out fishing. He loved to travel to new and interesting places. Some of his favorite destinations were Dallas, TX, Kansas City, MO and northern Wisconsin. Eli traveled home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, September 26th, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. He was 41 years old. He will be greatly missed for all the love he shared, and the way he made those around him happy.
Eli is preceded in death by his older brother, Albert “Frog” Fields; grandfather, Badwater Fields; and his grandmother, Beatriss Haven;
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Esther Regina Mouse-Fields of the home in Bunch. He leaves three sons and two daughters, Ethan Fields of Stilwell, OK, David Mouse of Bunch, Ok, Darrenn Mouse of Bunch, Emberly Mouse of Tahlequah, Ok, and Dasha Mouse of Bunch, OK. He leaves his mother Dianna Fields of Bunch and a special mother, Aileen Athey of Bunch, OK. He has one brother and two sisters, Darrell Bearpaw and wife Teresa of Stilwell, OK, Jeannie Adams of Butler, and Annetta Fields of Park Hill, OK. He has numerous aunts and uncles, Rhonda Belcher of Tahlequah, Lana Sizer of Kansas, OK, Glenda Long of Ketchum, OK, Richard Fields of Tahlequah, and Denny Haven also of Tahlequah as well as an honorary aunt, Alice Pendley of Bunch. His legacy lives on in his beloved grandchildren, Patricia Mouse of the home, Kyra Mouse of Tahlequah, Olivia Jimenez of the home and Carmen Gonzales of Tahlequah, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
