Ella Bernadine Milstead

Funeral services for Ella Bernadine Milstead will be held on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 at 10:00 Am at Reed-Culver Chapel with Brother Clint Horn officiating. Her family will hold visitation on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 beginning at 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Park Hill Cemetery in Park Hill, OK. Pallbearers for Ella include Louis Montano, Troy Matthews, Jessie Poole, Charles Hughes, Steve Perry, and randy McKee. Her honorary pallbearers include Charleston Hughes and Callip Hughes.

Ella Bernadine Milstead was born on Saturday, September 24th, 1960 in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of Charles and Opal Geraldine (McKee) Hughes. She had three brothers, Charles, Rodney, and Randy. She grew up in the Park Hill community, and attended the Park Hill Baptist Church, and was baptized there at a young age. She was lively and full of fun, and liked riding horses and learning ballet. Upon graduating, she attended Bacone and obtained her RN degree. She worked as the instructor at ICTC for the LPN program, and was a dedicated instructor to her students. She was the proud mother of three sons, Edward Ryan, Bradley Daniel, and Scott Wyatt Cameron. She was so proud of all of their accomplishments and was their biggest supporter. She was blessed with two granddaughters, JoAnna and Samantha. The most important part of Ella life was her ability to care for others far more than she ever did herself. She loved to spend time with her family and gather together. For all she had planned to do, the Lord called this kind and gentle woman home from her labors on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 in Tahlequah, OK. She was 59 years old and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, grandparents, and cousins.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Edward Roach and wife Jex of Bangkok, Thailand, Bradley Soliman of Park Hill, OK, and Scott Milstead also of Park Hill, OK. There are her three brothers, Charles Hughes and wife Patricia of Tahlequah, Rodney Haworth and wife Liza of Tahlequah, and Randy McKee of Park Hill, OK. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, JoAnna Roach and Samantha Roach of Thailand, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
