Helen was a person who could always bring a smile to your face. Even though we lived far away we will miss her greatly

My sister was a wonderful loving person and a blessing to all that met her and she will be greatly missed by all.

Helen always greeted us with a smile and a hug.  We are blessed to have had Helen with us when we introduced our daughter into the dance circle last year.  We will never forget that special day in Copan. She will be sincerely missed.

She was an amazing woman that touched the lives of everyone she knew. She will be missed by all.

As your last breath grew closer,
My heart continually breaking,
Because I wanted you forever.

Then there it was,
Your final breath of air.
I didn't want to believe it,
This is so cruel and not fair.

I held your beautiful face,
And prayed you'd breath again.
I wasn't ready for you to go,
I couldn't admit that this was the end.

But then I realized that you were now in peace,
And not suffering anymore.

To the family of our Pocahontas sister,

I went to AR Junior High and Muskogee High with Helen.  Another friend and I would walk to the bus stop with her often.  I haven't been in touch with her since then; but have many fond memories of her.  I know she will be greatly missed. Prayers for everyone she had to leave behind! !

What always hit me about Helen was Helen was her spirituality.  She always made me stop, think and reflect.  Laughter was always mixed up in there too and her love of family and friends never ceased to amaze me.  She helped show me how to live more deeply.  I miss you, Helen.

What a WONDERFUL friend Helen was to me!  I enjoyed dancing with her at the powwows.  She was such a sweetheart and always was so glad to see me as I was always glad to see her & Michael.  I missed her when she moved to OK.  Lots of love and sincere sympathy for Michael and the family

My Heart aches for we never met in this life. You have a Beautiful Soul and will be missed by MANY!

My dear friend Helen went to Irving School all the way to Muskogee High. Best of friends. Grow up with her and her sister. She so sweet and loved people. Most of all she loved the Lord. She would do anything for you no question asked. Her smile was from inside of her make your day go farther forget your problems.  She will not be forgotten she with me everyday. Soon I fly to see her. She dancing with Jesus and celebrating new birthday with Jesus.  Love Helen see you soon.

Time heals, and with time comes less sorrow and heartache. When I think of Helen, I think of gentleness, grace, quiet dignity, courage, and sweet smiles. It was my honor to call her friend and Tsalagi sister. Many prayers for her daughters, grandchildren, other family and all she called friend. We will walk with her again one day.

 Helen was a friend I will never forget and I will hold her in my heart for the remainder of my days... Aho
