Irene Ruth Margarite Johnson was born on August 24th, 1948, in Pryor, OK, to Frank and Isle Ruth (Friedrich) Chamberlain. She was an only child and attended school, graduating in 1966 from McClain High School, in Tulsa, OK. She attended school to study Cosmetology, and graduated, working all of her lifetime as a hairdresser. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She possessed an adventurous spirit and loved to travel, her favorite places being Hawaii, Eureka Springs and Branson, MO. Her smile would light up a room and her laughter made you feel happy inside. She was always ready to go to the latest meeting of the Red Hat Club, where she enjoyed the day spent with other women, who loved life and loved every minute they could squeeze into one day. There was no room in the house she avoided more than the kitchen, she was never happy being there. Therefore, she loved to go out to the Mexican Restaurants to eat her favorite food. Her greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were the twinkle in her eye and the reason she smiled so often. She adored them. The sun set for Irene on December 11th, 2020 in Tulsa, OK with her loved ones by her side. She was 72 years old and will be greatly missed.
