Kathleen "Kathy" Jean Stacy

Funeral services for Kathleen Jean “Kathy” Morgan-Stacy will be held on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 at 2:00 Pm at Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor David and Pastor Tammye Howell officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4th, 2016 from noon until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will be held at Tahlequah City Cemetery. Kathleen Jean “Kathy” Morgan-Stacy was born on July 6th, 1952 in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of Harvey and Thelma (Seay) Morgan. She grew up in a household with nine brothers and sisters, and attended Muskogee High School. Kathy married and started a family, raising five children, Mandy, Brandy, and triplets Jeremy, Joshua and Justin. She loved her children dearly, and her grandchildren made her equally proud. Any activity that concerned her grandchildren was the highlight of Kathy’s day. She was blessed with a great sense of humor, and shared her smile with everyone she met. She felt blessed to keep house for her family, and to see to their needs personally. Her health began to fail her and Kathy moved to the Muskogee Nursing Center, where the nursing staff treated Kathy like family, and Kathy saw them as an extension of her family. Kathy passed from this life on December 27th, 2015 in Muskogee, OK with her loved ones by her side. She was 63 years old.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Mandy O’Reilly and husband Patrick of Muskogee, Ok, triplets Justin Stacy and Carrie Smith of Sand Springs, Joshua Stacy and wife Vanessa of Sand Springs, Jeremy Stacy and Lyndsi Allison of Tulsa, OK, and Brandy Stacy of Eufaula, OK and the father of her children, Jack Stacy. Her brothers and sisters include Harvey Dean Morgan and wife Brenda of Muskogee, OK, Dennis Morgan and wife Erma of Muskogee, Judy Smith and husband Frank of Muskogee, Tammy Moore and husband Johnny Oklahoma City, OK, Cobey Morgan and wife Misti of Muskogee, OK, Greg Morgan and wife Susie of Muskogee, Eddie Morgan and wife Pam of Ft. Gibson, OK, Kevin Morgan of Muskogee, and Gailann Poplin and husband Randy of Coweta, OK. Kathy will live on in her grandchildren, Colin O’Reilly, Courtney Smith, Casey Lane, Jeremiah Stacy, Jatyn Stacy, Alexia Stacy, Zoey Stacy-Hall, Kayla Stacy, Brittany Argo, Branden Argo, Cheyenne Dotson, Shelby Harkins, and Gabriel Allen, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones. The family would like to send their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Muskogee Nursing Center and the Hospice Nurses that were so very dear to Kathy for all their love and support.
