Linda (Igert) England

Linda S. (Igert) England was born on December 5th, 1946 in Fort Gibson, OK, the daughter of Theodore and Margaret (Tindell) Igert. Linda was joined in marriage to Danny England in March 24th, 1967 at Four Mile in Fort Gibson. Their union was blessed with two children, Heath and Heather. Linda was the nicest and sweetest person you could meet and was born to be a mother. She cherished nothing more than caring for her kids and grandkids as well as time spent with her family playing cards or board games. She was up for anything and would talk to anyone…she never met a stranger. With her free time, she loved to set down with a good book and listen to her favorite music. Any chance she got, Linda would retreat to the woods for a camping trip or take time to enjoy a great meal at a nice restaurant. A Christian by faith, Linda was a member of the Church of Christ in Braggs, OK. On Saturday, August 8th, 2015, Linda passed from this life to her heavenly home at the age of 68 years old. Her kind and loving heart will be missed by all.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sister-in-laws and one very loved son-in-law, Dana Lee Jones.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Danny England; one son, Heath England of Louisville, KY; one daughter, Heather England of Fort Gibson, OK; four brothers and five sisters. Her legacy lives on through her three cherished grandchildren, Dubai “Dubie” England, Tindell “T-Bob” England and Tristan “Hoss” England as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones.

The family would like to encourage those attending to wear comfortable, cool clothing due to the weather.
