Loretta Lynne Bass was born on July 25th, 1968 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Charles Richard Bass and Patsy Lee (Cooper) Hutchison. She grew up with one brother and four sisters, Sheila, Rhonda, Jerri, Retha and Jimmy. She attended and graduated from Tahlequah High School. Loretta earned her living working for the Cherokee Nation as a Clinic Caretaker. She loved people and always had the biggest smile on her face. You always felt like you had known her for a lifetime. When she wasn’t working, she was keeping up with her pride and joy, her daughter, Nicole. Never one to just sit idly by, she was constantly working , sewing something, doing some Cherokee Beadwork, or getting ready to go to a Pumpkin Hollow Band Concert or going to jam out to Mason Jar Revival. She loved watching wrestling with her nephews, and her nephews knew she would be there rooting for them every chance she got watch them wrestle. She was their biggest fan. There was always time to go to a yard sale, or to hang out with friends at the casino or play a little Bingo. Her family was always first and foremost, she loved any chance to get together and share a meal and to play games. You didn’t have to know Loretta well to know she thought so much more of others than she did herself. She would do anything for her friends and family. Loretta passed from this life on October 26th, 2021 at her home surrounded by those that knew and loved her. She was 53 years old and leaves a vacancy that no one can ever fill.
Loretta is preceded in death by her husband, John White, mother Patsy Hutchison, father, stepdad, Wesley “Corkey’ Hutchison, one brother, Jimmy Hutchison, and two sisters, Sheila Cooper Eubanks and Rhonda Barnes.
