Michael Ray Chuculate

Michael Ray Chuculate was born to Taylor & Malinda (Beamer) Chuculate in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on October 7th, 1956. He grew up in Tahlequah with siblings, Levi, Donald, Linda, Donna, John, Denise & twin sister Cinda. He attended Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah, OK. Mike, as most family & friends knew him, had 3 children, Melissa Robison of Stilwell, OK, Bondeena Chuculate and Matthew Chuculate both of Oklahoma City.

Mike had a good sense of humor, he loved to crack jokes & would choose to “not be so serious” when life got him down. He chose laughter rather than sadness a lot in his life. Some would say Mike was a wanderer, nomad or roamer, as he never stayed put. Mike often traveled back & fourth from Tahlequah to Oklahoma City usually hitch hiking or bumming rides to his next destination. Mike loved to “donate” to the casino whenever funds would allow. We say “donate” because he never won. Once he settled in Tahlequah, he found employment with Habitat for Humanity where he stayed for 10 plus years until he was able to retire & draw his social security. Mike passed from this life on November 9th, 2025, at 69 years old in his home of Tahlequah, OK.

Mike was preceded in death by both parents Taylor & Malinda, his wife Linda of Tahlequah, brothers Lil John & Don Chuculate both of Tahlequah, sisters Donna Chuculate of Tahlequah, Denise Greer of Wagoner, OK & Cinda aka Cindy Chuculate of Tahlequah, OK. He will be missed by all he befriended & everyone he called family.

Those he held dear to his heart include daughters Melissa Robison, Bondeena Chuculate & son Matthew Chuculate as well as his brother Levi Johnson of Locust Grove & sister Linda Chuculate of Stilwell, OK. He will live on through his granddaughter Lania Vazquez, & grandson Cayden Chuculate both of Oklahoma City, along with many other family members who will miss him dearly.

His family will celebrate his life on Wednesday December 10th, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Reed & Culver Funeral Home in Tahlequah, OK with burial at Barber Cemetery to follow.
