Michael Siegel was born on May 27th, 1961 in Chicago, IL, the son of Eberhard “Ed” and Hannelore “Lore” (Hueber) Siegel. He grew up with one sister, Regine and attended Forest View High school, as well as obtaining an Associates degree in electronics. He relocated to Tahlequah, OK, working at NSU in the Facilities Management Department. His most treasured job of all was the father of Chantalle and the grandfather of Atlanta, he adored them both. The more time he spent with them, the more he enjoyed his life to the fullest. There were always jokes to be made, drones to fly, drawings to work on, softball games to help with, the list was endless. Summers were spent swimming and winters, getting ready to celebrate Christmas, his favorite time of the year. He was a dedicated, hard working man, who gave of himself to make others around him happy. He adored his family and would do any thing for them. He gave blood regularly, and worked with the amputees organizations to elevate awareness of life from their perspective. Each year he took part in the Wild West Festival, it was the way he enjoyed working with people that made it so special. He enjoyed being around people, he was friendly and always made you feel like you were someone special. For all he had to do, his health began to fail him and he passed from this life on July 7th, 2018 in Tahlequah, OK, with his family by his side. He was 57 years old. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and niece, Tracy Koehn.
