Robert Wayne Skiles

HULBERT, OK – Funeral services for Robert Wayne Skiles will be held on Friday, May 30th, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Reed Culver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Fred Igert officiating. Pallbearers for Robert include Mike York, Johnny Smith, Heath Weston, Jon Kerr, Jason Copeland and John Wooley. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Runnels and Gene Haney. Robert Wayne Skiles was born on May 14th, 1974 in Muskogee, OK. Robert devoted his life to racing. He loved racing at different race tracks and helping others on their cars. He was always the first to lend a hand whether it was on helping them with their cars or giving advice. Robert and his brother Steven were inseparable, each one always looking out for the other. The brothers would always make sure that their boys, Colton and Austin were with them on race day as to ensure their legacy lived on in the racing world. In his down time, Robert preferred to spend his time with loved ones and friends. Robert passed from this life on Saturday, May 24th, 2014. He was 40 years old. He will be greatly missed.

Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilson and Narcie Holmes and one uncle, Jack Holmes.

Robert is survived by his son, Colton Skiles; the love of his life, Deborah McAlister; his mother, Marion Whitekiller; his father, Robert Skiles; one brother, Steven Skiles; two sisters, Linda Skiles and Lisa Skiles. His memory lives on in his five nephews, Austin Skiles, Nik Skiles, Garrett Arnett, Briston Arnett and Jax Kerr as well as many uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
