

Thomas Paul Avery, or Paul to those that truly knew him, left life’s journey behind on Monday, July 10, 2017 in Tulsa, OK surrounded by his family. A memorial service has been planned 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Reed Culver Chapel.
Paul began his journey on July 17, 1974 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Rose Redday. He attended Hulbert High School where he met his high school sweet heart Jamie Stevenson. They were married on June 1, 1996 in Hulbert, OK; their marriage was blessed with two wonderful daughters, Shyanne and Katie Avery. Paul was an Iron Worker by trade and truly enjoyed the work he did. He was a good husband and friend to those that took the time to really know him. He always found the time to spend cutting up with friends and family, and never missed a chance to teach the kids, the lessons of life. He was willing to step up and help anyone with anything, without complaining. Paul had a passion for motorcycles and loved the time spent riding with his daughter Katie. He was never more proud of anything than his family, and the greatest title he wore was Dad.
Those that completed the journey before him include his grandparents, JD and Betty Edwards and one brother, Michael Avery. Left to remember the journey he had is his wife Jamie of the home, mother Rose Redday of Tahlequah, OK, his two daughters Shyanne and Katie Avery of Tahlequah, OK one brother Jesse “Nut” Fixin of Tahlequah, OK and one sister Shellie Thompson of Tahlequah, OK as well as a host of other family and loved ones.
