Keith was the youngest son of Vivian and Jonas. He spent many years working as a welder on water towers. Outside of work, Keith enjoyed woodworking, fishing, music, and spending time outdoors. He especially loved playing the guitar and the bass guitar. He enjoyed having those music sessions with his brother and buddies.
Keith was quick witted, ready to hang out with his family and friends, always making you laugh and ready to stand up for what he believed in. When you were around Keith there wasn't a dull moment with his storytelling. His sense of humor made you feel better when you were in need of a good laugh.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Jonas R. Gourd and Vivian (Dreadfulwater) Gourd; and his brothers, Steven Gourd, Les Gourd, and Rudy Gourd.
He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Moore and Amber Moore; his brother, James Gourd; his sisters, Vera Gourd-Newman, Pamela Gourd, Frances Arredondo, Tina Snow, and Jennifer Gourd; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.
In the end, Keith would probably rather be remembered through good music, a few stories, and people enjoying each other’s company. His memory will live on through the family and friends who knew him, loved him, and will miss him dearly.
