Velma Lucille Boswell Tucker

Tahlequah, OK- Funeral services for Verlma Lucille Tucker (Boswell) will be held Wednesday, Deccember 10th, 2014 at 2pm at Reed Culver Chapel with Pastor Bill Holcomb of Blessed Hope Baptist Church and Pastor Dennis Hall of Faith Chapel Church officiating. Interment will be held at Boudinot Cemetary. Pallbearers include Colten Boston, Dustin Boston, Trenton Boston, Aaron Henry, Josh Girdner and Jason Archer. Honorary Pallbearers include Greg Cordray, Chris Cordray, Tommy Cordray, Cory Cordray, Santiago Espinoza and Barry Tucker.

Velma was orn on January 10th, 1930 in Lost City, OK the daughrer of Fern and Effie Boswell and was sent to be with her Lord and Savior on December 5th, 2014. Velma married James (Jim) Tucker on December 14th, 1946. She was a member of Faith Chapel Church. Velma loved sending time with her family and loved anything that had to do with being outdoors especially picking blueberries and going to church singings and getherings where she could be with her friends.

Velma is preceeded in death by her husband Jim Tucker, one brother Carl (Sonny) Boswell, four sisters, Bonnie Boswell, Jewel Hale, Mildred Foster, Lola Fields and her parents Effie and Fern Boswell.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Brenda and husband Wally Henry, one grandson Aaron Henry and fiance Cynthia Osburn, three granddaughters Catina Boston, Melissa and husband Santiago Espinoza, Stephanie and husband Josh Girdner along with 12 great grandchildren, one sister Barbara Anthony, and many friends and family.
