Albert Vester Estes, Sr. passed away on May 29, 2018. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 41 years, Sandra, and his children: Al Jr. and Susan Estes of Wacissa, Jimmy (deceased) and Toni Estes of Tallahassee, Diane and Johnny Gebhardt of Reddick; Grandchildren: Stephen, Richard, Joanna, Joshua and Taylor; Great-grandchildren: Tyler, Stephen Jr., Trenton, Hunter, Hope, Brantley and Bryleigh; Siblings: Bobby Estes of Attapulgus, Pat and Thomas Ball of Ocala, Doris Thompson of Pembroke, Sunni Precup and Johann Van Niekerk of Ft. Lauderdale, Maggie Wetzel and Paolo Salvador of Lake Butler.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jim Henry and Rosetta Youngblood Estes, brothers Henry and Jack Estes and sister Connie Almond.
Albert was born on February 24, 1932, in Plant City Florida. He was in the Air Force, graduated from Technical school in Chicago, moved to Tallahassee and worked at Sears & Robuck as a TV Technician, worked for Auxiliary and as Maintenance Supervisor for the Leon Country Sherriff’s Department and later retired.
Albert enjoyed being in the great outdoors hunting and fishing, watching baseball, football, softball and especially his beloved Seminoles.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10am at Roselawn Cemetery, 843 Piedmont Dr., Tallahassee.
