

She was born January 7, 1995 in Tallahassee. She was an A-B Honor Roll student at Liberty County High School where she also excelled as a softball player with the Lady Bulldogs. Previously Lexis played softball with the Ft. Braden Pioneers from the sixth grade thru the eighth grade and they were District Champions every year. She received a special award for an essay written on the Holocaust. Lexis had a special spirit which all benefited from knowing her.
Survivors include her mother Betty Strickland Hutto and John Hutto of Hosford; two brothers Justin Strickland and Austin Hutto, both at home; maternal grandparents Winston and Barbara Strickland of Attapulgus, GA; her very special uncle, Army Calvary Scout, 1st Sgt. Leonard (Ray) Strickland formerly of Attapulgus, GA; grandmother Mary Hutto of Lake Seminole; Tye Patty of Tallahassee; and her paternal grandmother Rosemary of Tallahassee; and paternal grandfather Tyson Patty of Ocala.
Visitation will be held 2:00-8:00 PM, E.S.T, Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Rd., Tallahassee, 850-877-8191. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, E.S.T, Monday at the Lake Mystic Baptist Church, 1529 NW CR 12, Bristol, FL, with interment to follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
