Alice J. Cotton, 78, of Tallahassee FL, passed away at her home on June 24, 2021. Alice was born and raised in Tallahassee. She graduated from Florida High School where she was a Cheerleader and participated in the FSU Flying High Circus, among other accomplishments. Alice was a Christian, the most loving and caring person, a devoted wife and mother. She loved going to the movies, the beach, shopping, attending gospel sings, fishing and spending time with her family at Lake Jackson where she resided. The wife of a former Tallahassee Police Dept. Sgt., Alice was known and loved by many people within the community. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Henry W. Cotton who has resided in Tallahassee since 1958-originally from Cottondale, her daughters Tia Cotton Griffiss (John) and Sheila Rae Revell, and 4 grandsons, all of Tallahassee. She is preceded in death by her parents, H.B. Jackson Sr. and Essie Willis Jackson, her sister Carolyn Ann Wilkes, and her brother H.B. Jackson “Junior”.
