Angel Schaub

Angel was born on October 22, 1944, to James and Hilda Eubanks in Dunedin, FL. She spent much of her childhood moving to various countries, such as Germany, Scotland, France, The Azores, and England, as her father was in the U.S. Air Force. She was a graduate of Lakenheath High School in England. While the family was stationed in England, Angel met the love of her life, Kenneth Schaub, who was also stationed in England.

Angel was the former owner of Aubrey’s Pest Control and Angel’s Designs. Angel was a lifelong crafter. From ceramics, floral design, crocheting, stained glass and sewing, Angel loved demonstrating her artistic skills. She especially excelled in costume design, often making intricate and magnificent dance costumes.

A true social butterfly, Angel never met a stranger. Whether traveling, enjoying dance recitals, going to craft events or shopping, you were never alone when Angel was around. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with people, especially her family. Some of her favorite times were spent at holiday gatherings and on Saturday nights playing table games with her sister and closest friends.

Angel was preceded in death by her father, James A. Eubanks, her mother Hilda V. Eubanks, her brother, F. Gary Eubanks, and her grandson James Michael Schaub.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Kenneth Schaub; her children, James and Kay Schaub, Kevin and Michelle Schaub; grandchildren Kathlena Harrison, Robin Rouden, Logan Tober and Elana Tober; 4 great grandchildren Caroline Harrison, Rylee Harrison, Mia Rouden and Lina Rouden; sister , Linda G. Hall; sister- in- law, Helen Eubanks and many special nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

A memorial visitation will be on Saturday January 11, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.
