Catherine Ann Pennington, 69, of Tallahassee passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church - 3705 N. Monroe St. - on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
Ann was retired from Department of Education, State of Florida.
Survivors include her mother, Katheryn Hughes; her son, Kevin Pennington; three sisters, Faye Carroll, Karen Boatright, and Margarette Hampton (Mike); six nieces and nephews, Clay Carroll, Amy Kutz (Brian), D.D. Smith (Trace), Aaron Hampton (Shantel), Drew Boatright (Lauren) and Tim Hampton (Cheryl). There are numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and extended grandchildren, Lisa-Janee Rosier, Katie Rosier and Wesley Davis.
The family has requested contributions be made to Big Bend Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Tallahassee, FL.
